To create a complete environmental profile of your family, CHAPPY requires a bit of effort to gather the information (with any unknown information substituted with NSW average values). To make it easier, all questions refering to the information that can be entered into CHAPPY are available as "pdf" documents. If you do not have the pdf reader, go to www.adobe.com.
Two "pdf" documents are available, one containing all the information necessary to complete an environmental profile in the primary school interface, and one for the high school interface:
A "pdf" workbook is available to assist teachers, parents or interested students. This document highlights the environmental issues related to a family's lifestyle.
A full teachers' guide to CHAPPY is also available. The guide is designed for teachers to get the most out of CHAPPY. The guide enables students to conduct a comprehensive audit of home or school energy use, and allows you to effectively quantify and manage your environmental impact as well as providing strategies to encourage ongoing environmental improvements. The guide can be used in the classroom or as a project for a school council or special interest group.
